HOW TO SELL TO US

1. Inspect You Items

Clothes + Accessories:  All items must be cleaned and meet our quality standards. We are currently accepting sizes newborn to 11 years (children size "large").

Books: All books must be in excellent or good used condition.  We do not accept books that are marked up or have missing or ripped pages.

2. Pack Your Items

Once you have a minimum of 35 qualified items to sell, visit our Schedule a Pick-Up  page. Leave your bagged/boxed items at your front door or with your concierge, no need for you to be home!  

Please note we reserve the right to charge an inspection fee if the majority of items collected do not meet our Quality Standards. The inspection fee will be deducted from the final purchase price for the items collected. Learn more at our FAQ page.

 

3. We Email You a Purchase Sheet

We carefully inspect the items to ensure that it meets Beeja May’s high-quality standards, and determine the price paid for the items.

We will email you a purchase sheet for the items. You may choose: A) cash (via EMT), B) a store credit for the offer price plus 20%; or C) or donate a percentage of the money to the local charity organization.

Please allow approximately 2 weeks for us to inspect the items and to email you a purchase sheet.  Timing may be longer if you have 70+ items to sell.

4. Pick-up or Donate Un-purchased Clothes

Option #1 - Pick Up: Items not qualified for purchased can be picked up at our East York location. Items must be picked up within 2 weeks from the date the offer is emailed to you.  Otherwise, we will donate the items on your behalf to charity.

Option #2 -  Donation: We will happily donated on your behalf un-purchased items to The New Mom Project or Book Bank Canada.  

 

PICK UP AREAS

Beeja May currently offers free pick up service in the following areas:

  • Downtown Toronto
  • Scarborough
  • Etobicoke
  • North York
  • East York
  • Markham
  • Richmond Hill
  • Vaughan

If you are located within the GTA but not in the areas listed above, we will happily pick up the pre-loved clothes at a $10 charge, which will be deducted from your payout price.  We also request that you have a minimum of 45 qualified items to sell if you are not located within the areas listed above.

 

5. Thank You!

Finally, please respect our selling policies and only pack qualified items for us to inspect.  A lot of time, energy and resources are put into scheduling pick ups and inspecting the clothes.  When in doubt, send us an email with your questions.  We appreciate your cooperation!
