We drop GEMS every time we load new arrivals, and if you haven't been able to snap those amazing second hand finds, here are some tips and tricks that might help!
1. Get to know our load schedule
We drop new arrivals almost every singe day (except Tuesday + Sundays...for now) at 9AM. Show up at 9AM for your best chance to find all your favourite brand name used items
2. Watch our IG stories
We post previews on Instagram stories of upcoming drops the day/evening. If you see something you like, hit the arrow on the countdown icon for a reminder to check in early and get the item you're looking for!
3. Get on our email list
We will be emailing weekly previews of the week's new arrivals soon. Sign up for the size(s) you're looking for and we'll let you know what new arrivals are coming in the sizes you're looking for.
4. Show up early
Sometimes a few items sneak onto the website 1-2 minutes before 9AM, so show up a little early and check out our New Arrivals section.
5. Use our HOLD feature
If you have a second hand steal in your shopping cart, check out ASAP! Type "Hold" in the text box located at the bottom of your cart, check out, and continue browsing in peace. We'll hold the order and combine with your subsequent orders to save on shipping. Learn more here!
6. Use our search bar
Search for brands you love (such as Roots, Mini Mioche, MEC + more) simply by typing it in our search bar. The search bar can be found in the menu drop-down (on mobile) or the top right section of the homepage (on desktop).
*TIP* if you see a Roots hoodie you must have in the previews the day before, type in Roots when we drop new arrivals, refresh until it pops up and check out ASAP (using the HOLD feature!)
7. Use our Filters
Did you know that you can filter through all our items by size (brand, product type, product condition, etc.)? Find the "filter" button on the top right (on mobile) or on the left of your page (on desktop).

9. It's all in the details
Our team spends a great deal of time and energy adding detailed descriptions for each of our listings! Take a minute to review the descriptions to be certain it's an item you want to purchase. Here are examples of details we note:
- If an item doesn't fit true to size, the true fit and tag size will be noted
- If the item has signs of wear, we'll let you know how and where
- Materials are listed
- Approximate length of footwear are noted
- We provide the recommended ages for books
10. Get a personal shopper
By signing up for our email list! You can select which age group you're shopping for, and we'll send you customized emails of items in the sizes you're looking for!
