Family Activities for a slow Christmas – Beeja May

Family Activities for a slow Christmas

Posted by Christine Trinh on

I'm sure I'm not alone, but I ADORE the holiday season. Turkey, stuffing, holiday lights, markets, candy canes...ALL of it, but as I've gotten older and became a parent (and busy business owner), I'm starting to realize the value in slowing down all the special moments this time of the year. It's hard not to get wrapped up in the hustle and bustle during this time of year, so we've put together a list of activities to help you slow down and enjoy all the little moments we often miss.

  • Sip on hot cocoa + watch a Christmas movie
  • Make mulled wine sangria
  • Christmas tree slumber party
  • Make an orange clove pomander ball
  • Have a hygge night (PJs, hot cocoa/or some of that mulled wine sangria, holiday movie, popcorn, etc.)
  • DIY popcorn or orange garland
  • Homemade s'mores
  • Christmas cards
  • Play board games
  • Make homemade dough ornaments
  • Make a simmer pot
  • Decorate a gingerbread house
  • Bake holiday cookies

What other slow activities do you enjoy this time of the year? Leave us a comment to let us know!
